Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the minimum amount of personal information needed to answer inquiries and share the material you request.

• Name and work email: only when you voluntarily submit them through the sample-report form.
• Booking details: if you book a call through our scheduling tool, that tool collects the details you provide (name, email, optional company info) directly.
• Direct emails: if you email us, we retain the message and your email address so we can reply.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) through this website. Please do not send CUI over unencrypted email.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible is cookieless, does not track individual users across sites, does not build advertising profiles, and does not collect personally identifiable information. What we see: aggregate page views, referrer source, country, device type, and roughly which sections of the site are getting attention.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may set operational cookies (for example, remembering that you've closed the mobile navigation), but nothing is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

What we do with your information

• Reply to your inquiry, send the material you asked for, or set up a call.
• Send at most one follow-up if you don't reply, then stop.
• Send occasional regulatory-status updates ONLY if you opted in via the checkbox on our sample-report form. Unsubscribe from any email.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.
• We do not add you to newsletters or lists you did not explicitly opt into.

Third-party services we use

• Plausible Analytics: page-view analytics, cookieless.
• Scheduling tool: booking calls (see their privacy policy).
• Email delivery: our email provider for sending you the material you request.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what they collect and how they use it.

Data retention

Form submissions and inbound emails are retained as long as reasonably needed to serve you, and no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@securefort.io; we'll confirm within a reasonable period.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@securefort.io with your request.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to delete that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, but you can still exercise any of these rights by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the small amount of personal data we hold. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and note the change on this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
